For Meaningful Play Membership

Welcome to the Meaningful Play Membership community! This is a safe, supportive space for parents, caregivers, and educators to share ideas, celebrate milestones, and learn together.

By participating in this community, you agree to follow these guidelines.

✨ Safety - Prioritize child safety and privacy above all else
✨ Support - Encourage and uplift fellow parents
✨ Authenticity - Share real experiences, challenges, and wins

Child Safety & Privacy Guidelines

We encourage you to share your child's creative work and activities, but child safety is our top priority.

✅ DO:

  • Focus photos on the craft, activity, or project itself
  • Blur, cover, or crop out children's faces using emojis, stickers, shapes, or editing tools
  • Ensure children are fully clothed and in appropriate settings
  • Share age ranges or developmental stages without using specific names (e.g., "my 2-year-old loved this!")
  • Celebrate achievements and progress in general terms

❌ DON'T:

  • Post clear, identifiable photos of children's faces
  • Include full names, birthdates, addresses, schools, or locations
  • Share photos of children in states of undress (bath time, diaper changes, potty training, etc.)
  • Post content that could identify your child to strangers
  • Share private or sensitive information about your family

What You Can Post

✅ Photos of completed crafts and activities
✅ Questions and advice requests
✅ Wins, challenges, and parenting reflections
✅ Resources and recommendations
✅ Encouragement and support for other members

What's Not Allowed

❌ Spam, self-promotion, or advertising
❌ Offensive, discriminatory, or hateful language
❌ Medical or legal advice (we're parents, not professionals!)
❌ Graphic or disturbing content
❌ Harassment, bullying, or personal attacks
❌ Content that violates child safety guidelines

Your Responsibility

By posting in this community, you affirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You are the parent or legal guardian of any child mentioned or shown
  • You have sole responsibility for any images, information, or content you share
  • You understand that other community members can view your posts
  • You release Thumbles from any liability related to content you choose to post

Important: Once you post something online, you cannot fully control who sees it or how it's shared. Please think carefully before posting any information or photos.

Moderation

Our community is actively moderated to ensure a safe, positive environment.

We reserve the right to:

  • Remove any content that violates these guidelines
  • Remove content that compromises child safety or privacy
  • Warn, suspend, or permanently ban members who repeatedly violate guidelines
  • Report illegal content or child safety concerns to appropriate authorities
